Sentinel Expands Technical Team With Senior Appointment

Sentinel, the leading international water treatment specialist, has expanded its technical team by appointing Ella Cooper to the position of Technical Support Manager. The move comes in support of the company’s ongoing commitment to invest in the rapidly developing UK market, and comes at a time of major growth for Sentinel. In addition, Ms. Cooper’s experience and expertise will help the company maximise its opportunities from a period of extraordinary innovation in water treatment products and services.

Ms. Cooper is an apprentice-served central heating engineer who in her most recent role worked as a mechanical project surveyor for Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH), the UK’s first tenant and employee co-owned mutual housing society, with over 13,500 homes throughout the local area. During a nine-year spell in this role, Ms. Cooper managed numerous large-scale mechanical replacement projects from conception to completion. Previously, she also worked for five years as a central heating engineer at RBH, installing, maintaining and servicing gas appliances across the housing stock. Ms. Cooper has a BEng (Hons) in Building Services and Sustainable Engineering.

In her role at Sentinel, Ms. Cooper provides technical support for designated product ranges and new product development. She will also commission and supervise external providers, as well as liaise with suppliers on technical training. Further responsibilities include managing external resources in testing, quality, certification and compliance, as well as supporting customers – and sales, marketing and service team colleagues – in resolving product/application issues. 

“I have over 16 years of experience in the central heating sector that I hope will add considerable value to my new role at Sentinel. Water treatment is an absolute necessity for the trouble-free, energy-efficient operation of heating systems and I look forward to providing the technical support necessary to help Sentinel maintain and expand its market-leading position,” said Ms. Cooper.
