Polypipe Plumbing & Heating has extended its range of advanced plastic plumbing fittings with the launch of PolyMax. The new white push-fit fitting, developed following extensive research, offers a streamlined profile creating an aesthetically pleasing smooth line look for surface mounted applications, where visible fittings are unavoidable.
PolyMax joins the three other plastic pipe fittings within the Polypipe Plumbing & Heating range – PolyFit, PolyPlumb and PolySure – and follows demands from plumbers and heating engineers for a fitting that is secure, easy to install, versatile and attractive.
PolyMax is easy to use, allows installers to complete jobs quickly and can be demounted during fitting via a handy release tool. A new Polypipe sealed stiffener will be available shortly which can be incorporated to create a double seal for additional security.
In order to cover the majority of surface mounted applications, PolyMax is available in 15mm and 22mm sizes. The range includes fittings from straights, elbows, tees and reducers to tap connectors and fitting release aids. It can be used either with Polypipe white polybutylene pipe systems or copper pipe.
James Bell, product manager for Plastic Plumbing, comments: “We understand that no two jobs are the same, and for this reason we have designed the most comprehensive range of application-driven solutions on the market today. With its streamline design, PolyMax meets the requirements of the repair, maintenance and improvement installer; it is reliable, attractive and simple to install.
“Each of the four fittings in our range - PolyMax, PolyPlumb, PolyFit and PolySure - offer alternative jointing technologies to suit any application, project and personal preference.”
Fittings within the Polypipe Plumbing and Heating range have been developed following extensive research and development. PolyMax is kitemarked and British Standard Class S rated to BS7291 Part 1.
