Leading bathroom specialist, Heritage Bathrooms, is topping off a successful year with reaching 10,000 likes on Facebook and celebrating being recognised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) for an industry award.
Reaching this milestone on Facebook, means the brand’s social media objectives of increasing engagement with consumers and raising brand awareness has been met. To reward its loyal fans for helping reach the target, Heritage also launched a competition to win a Champney’s spa day for two.
This overhaul of Heritage Bathrooms’ social strategy, has also seen the brand shortlisted for a CIPR award for its digital campaign ‘influencing the influencers’.
The dedicated campaign saw the recruitment of interior stylist, Anna Morley, to offer expert tips and advice through the Heritage blog. It also included additional social media activity surrounding influential designer shows including the BBC success ‘The Great Interior Design Challenge’. Through live tweeting, inspirational blogs, and inspiring and interactive content, Heritage was able to recruit new brand ambassadors in key sector areas, as well as continue to drive traffic from its social channels to its website.
Heritage Bathrooms E-commerce manager, Bill Wilson, comments:
“We are extremely proud of where we have come since this time last year, and how our digital activity has progressed through our renewed approach. We average 35% consumer engagement each month on our social channels and this in turn has driven an increase in traffic to our website. Our brochure requests through the website are up 114% this year too, which is driving additional leads to our customers and showing the value of our digital focus.”
