Fernox the UK’s leading chemical water treatment manufacturer is celebrating a successful year end to its first Fantasy Football League competition, as it names plumber Paul Skipsey from Newcastle as the league winner. Scooping first place meant Paul received two tickets to the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool on Saturday 05th May at Wembley stadium.

Paul has been a plumber for 37 years and self-employed for the last nine years. As a regular user of the Fernox Total Filter TF1, Paul decided to sign up to the recently launched Fernox Installer Club, which offers tradesmen a whole host of benefits and the chance to compete in the Fantasy Football League.

“People have asked me what my strategy was but to be honest, my only tactic was to concentrate on my defence and keep an eye out for injured players every week," commented winner Paul Skipsey. "I’ve been really impressed with the Fernox Installer Club so far and I’ll definitely be signing up to the Fantasy League next season!”

Launched in September 2012, the Fernox Installer Club endeavours to keep Fernox customers up- to- date with the latest news from Fernox and the wider industry.  Plus, customers can benefit from special offers and an on-line forum, which enables members to share problems and ideas, tips and best practice - plus regular blogs from industry figures.

Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director for Fernox commented: “We are delighted for Paul as our first ever winner of the Fantasy Football League. Launching the league was a real gamble as we didn’t know if our customers would take to it but the gamble seems to have paid off and we’re expecting next season to be even more popular.”
