Fernox has retained the full certification and Carbon Trust approval across a number of its chemical water treatments and for its award-winning Fernox TF1 Total Filter. All products were assessed against the required standards and will carry the Carbon Trust label.

Global water treatment manufacturer Fernox originally achieved the Carbon Trust label in 2010 for reducing carbon emissions. Having worked collaboratively with the Carbon Trust for five years, Fernox has continued its steadfast commitment by gaining the latest carbon footprint certification across all those previously certified with the addition of two more products: Fernox Protector F1 Express and Cleaner F5 Express.

The certification process saw Fernox work alongside the Carbon Trust to limit the carbon emissions of products throughout their complete lifecycles, including raw material extraction and manufacturing, distribution, customer use and disposal.

“We are fully committed to minimising the environmental impact of our products,” said Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director at Fernox. “We are delighted that the Carbon Trust has recognised our efforts to maintain our high standards, delivering efficient, cost-effective solutions to our customers whilst ensuring our processes, from formulation and packaging to customer use and disposal, are as ecologically responsible as possible.”

The complete list of Carbon Trust certified products includes: Fernox Protector F1, Fernox Protector F1 Express and Fernox MB-1; Fernox Cleaner F3, Cleaner F5 and Cleaner F5 Express; HVAC F1 and F3; Solar S1 and Fernox HP-15c; the Fernox TF1 Compact and TF1 Total Filter.
