Gyproc ThermaLine PIR plasterboard has become the latest solution from British Gypsum to achieve the independent Green Deal compliance certification from the British Board of Agrément (BBA). The certification extends the range of British Gypsum interior wall insulation solutions which can be used for Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation (ECO) projects.
Gyproc ThermaLine PIR, a high performing insulating system, combines 40mm high performance thermal insulation PIR foam bonded to 12.5mm tapered edge plasterboard.
Harjit Sandhu, domestic specification sector manager at British Gypsum, said: “Following recent changes in funding streams for the Green Deal, we’re likely to see an increase in projects, so this new addition to our range is well timed to give customers a wider choice of compliant products and systems to choose from.”
British Gypsum systems certified by the BBA also include: DriLyner RF; DriLyner TL; GypLyner UNIVERSAL and GypLyner IWL, which are all designed to help increase energy efficiency and lower fuel bills by offering improved thermal performance.
British Gypsum also received BBA certification for its Green Deal solutions and training package, which focuses on equipping installers with the knowledge to fit materials in compliance with the Green Deal’s strict requirements.
Harjit continued: “ThermaLine strengthens our Green Deal package which helps installers easily identify our compliant systems and products, and with the training available, ensure they are able to offer the best service, quality of work and advise possible to homeowners.”
