The world’s first social network for plumbers, Bristan Connect, is going mobile with the launch of the Connect app for Android and Apple.

The Connect app will allow members to access all of the features of the desktop platform without the need to always be connected to their mobile data – ideal for plumbers on the go. The social network enables users to connect with other plumbers both professionally and socially, and provides a forum where they can chat, share top tips or industry news, and recommend anything from a new product to their favourite band.

Recent research from leading market researcher Forrester has suggested that the digital future will see customer engagement on popular sites like Facebook and Twitter decrease in favour of independent platforms, such as Connect, where users can receive more personalised information and support.
