Fernox has released its new training dates and venues for 2014. The chemical water treatment company has a long history of education and support, and this year shares 50 years of expertise with installers via practical sessions around the UK and a series of e-learning modules.
Over the last fifty years Fernox has grown to become a global leader in water treatment products, filters and equipment. The company has a wealth of experience and has long championed training and education and as such provides the most comprehensive training available from a water treatment manufacturer.
A one-day training course is available at locations around the UK. These offer an overview of the benefits and regulatory requirements of water treatment for traditional and renewable heating systems. Participants gain hands-on experience of powerflushing a system, using water test kits and dosing a radiator with inhibitors such as Fernox Protector F1, in a variety of formats.
Complementary to this is the series of e-learning modules, which allow installers to improve knowledge and understanding through five modules: The Fundamentals of Water Treatment- Part One and Two, Testing Water Quality, Powerflushing and Water Treatment in Renewable Technologies. Each module offers a useful overview on its subject area with visual and audio instructions as well as pre and post assessments to aid learning.
“This year Fernox celebrates 50 years of innovation,” commented Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director for Fernox. “Our breadth of knowledge and experience is unrivalled in the industry, meaning we are uniquely placed to provide comprehensive training and support for installers. We have worked to ensure training and best practice guidance is easily accessible –providing face-to-face as well as e-learning options.”
Furthermore, installers who attend a one-day, classroom based training course with Fernox during 2014 will be given a complementary TF1 Flushing Adapter.
